Heading home…
I’ll be getting off my ship tomorrow, and heading home. It should prove to be a BUSY month in the studio- Lots of projects to get done!

I am terrible about updating my web page- and my blog. I just don’t make time to do it! I am really busy with ‘other’ stuff most of the time.
I’ve been working on updating my studio space- And I am finally in the process of moving in! It’s looking pretty decent already, although I have a long ways to go-

I am just getting all my ’stuff’ unpacked. It has been in storage for about 2 years now.
I STILL don’t get to this blog too often- I’m so busy… Check out my sites-

to get a better idea of what is going on!

Been VERY busy. New house. New car. But- I’m back.
I uploaded the new page. I should REALLY update my blog sometime, too….
I’ve been ‘playing’ with clear glass-
Glass is a challenge- But I have fun with it. I did this one as well, although I didn’t put nearly as much time/effort in to it- It is for a ‘weekly drawing challenge’ on the WetCanvas site where I am a Moderator-
It was a ‘quicky’, only about 4 hours or so.
Both of these drawings are done with Graphite, on film.
I haven’t posted in a while, As I have been pretty busy with ‘things’. I am back on my ship now, so internet access isn’t quite as regular as normal- I get online when I am in port (Thanks to Sprint Mobile broadband), so that means every couple of days or so.
I have been doing more silverpoint work, including some old masters copies… I really enjoy working with Silverpoint! All of the work above was completed in the past week or so. The First is silver & Copper point, about 4″ x 6″, With a detail shot. It is a copy of one of DaVinci’s silverpoints. The second is another DaVinci copy, which I did on a ‘toned’ ground rather than the white that I had been working on. The last picture of that one shows the original drawing (bottom) with mine. I drew it in REVERSE for a reason- Da Vinci was lefthanded, I am right- so to try to copy his technique backwards was TOUGH!
The last one is just a quick study that I did… It turned out OK.
